Beans n’ Franks

Beans & Franks

Serves 6

½ C. finely chopped onion
½ C. finely chopped bell pepper
1 (15 oz.) chunky tomato sauce
2 Tablespoons brown sugar substitute
2 (16 oz.) cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
8 oz. diced, fat-free frankfurters
Cooking spray

In a large skillet, coated with cooking spray, sauté onion and green pepper. Stir in tomato sauce and brown sugar. Add beans and frankfurters. Mix well. Lower heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Low calorie, low fat
